This traditional stay has been welcoming guests since the 1930s, with eye-catching vintage photos dotted all around the place hinting at its long history. Here, it's all about good food, friendly, down-to-earth service, and enjoying the spot's special, homely atmosphere.

The hotel shuttle will zip you to the lifts in the morning and pick you up in the afternoon. And it’s only a 15 minute walk to famous piste-side bars like Mooserwirt and Krazy Kanguruh, so you can get that classic slopeside après experience without having to ski afterwards. For a more leisurely end to your ski day, head for the hotel bar for a tipple and chinwag instead. And sticking with the relaxing theme, there’s also a pool, sauna and steam room if you fancy adding some wellness to your off-slope hours.

Moving on to all things food, the hotel sets you up for the mountain with a hot and cold buffet spread, where you can fill up on rolls and cold cuts or eggs, sausage and crispy bacon.
