Having disposed of its previous branding as the Ibiza on the slopes, the resort has a much more refined feel, whilst maintaining the dynamic après atmosphere. "Incredible staff at Hotel La Torre"

Suzanne Evans, Warrington
4/ out of 5
The hotel was great! Hotel staff were amazing and went above and beyond, one day the water went off but because of the way they were with the children and how they looked after us, the staff more than compensated for it. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was that we booked La Torre because we went with children, and it looked like it had a swimming pool – however we didn’t know that only children of a certain age could get in. We thought that the food was amazing, with lots of pasta! If you have children, it’s worth knowing that there isn’t a children’s menu. Our 11 and 5 year old don’t really like eating what we eat, and 2 days in we spoke to the staff who said we could write down whatever they wanted – pizza, spaghetti carbonara etc. - and they’d happily make it. If they had a children’s menu or included some simpler, more child friendly buffet options (e.g. plain soup, chicken) it would have been better. The shuttle was fantastic. Overall, there’s room for improvement but I had a great week and we would definitely go back.

We thought La Torre was pretty good, it’s a quirky hotel with unusual decor, but it has a very good restaurant and bar area. The rooms were a little on the small side but they were OK overall. Location isn’t bad, we used the hotel transport as it’s a bit of an uphill walk between the hotel and lifts. The transfers are good, they run continuously so at most you’ll be waiting for about 10-15 minutes in the morning. The hotel has an excellent spa next door, which you have to pay to use (but you do get a discount). It’s very good indeed, with quite a large gym and swimming pool. Some of the party took out a week long pass and used it in the afternoons. The food was very good, we had a choice of 3-4 things with a big buffet. I’m a coeliac so can’t eat gluten and they catered very well for me, with the manager personally looking after me.
