· 7-9 minutes’ walk to the centre of the village · 3-5 minutes’ walk to the Arena drag lift, the nursery slopes, the ski bus stop and Hotel Harfenwirt · 10-12 minutes’ walk to the ski school meeting point
A stay in one of the Harfenwirt Snow Homes will give you a taste of Tyrolean comfort. They’re a group of guesthouses which, while on the no-frills side, have a traditional alpine decor and a snug atmosphere. You’re only a few mins’ walk to the lifts – so getting on the mountain in the morning is easy-peasy.
The Homes are also only a snowball’s throw from the partnering Hotel Harfenwirt. It’s one of the most popular hotels in the area, and you’ll be able to use all its facilities freely during your stay. You might fancy going for a post-piste pampering in the sauna or doing some lazy laps of the pool, followed up with a trip to one of the hotel bars for a refresher or two.
Breakfast is included with your stay and is also taken at the hotel, so tuck into the tasty buffet spread and fuel up for the slopes. Come the end of the day, you have a range of restaurants in Niederau to explore, or you can keep things simple and eat at the hotel. You might have the honour of being serenaded by the 'harfenwirt' – or in English, the 'harp playing landlord' – if you do.
· free use of all the facilities at the Hotel Harfenwirt, including the indoor pool and wellness area with sauna, steam room and infrared cabin (4-6pm) · extra charge for towels and bathrobes for the wellness area (approx. €7 per person)
All rooms are non-smoking. The Superior twin room comes with free WiFi, a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge.
