3 Valleys apartment holidays
For the most flexible way to ski this gargantuan ski area, book one of our self-catered apartment holidays.
Maybe you want to ski the world’s biggest linked piste network without having to work around the set mealtimes that come with chalets and hotels – whether that means breakfasting early to be first on the slopes, enjoying a week of well-earned lie-ins or playing each day by ear.
Maybe your main thing’s having the menu in your hands, for allergy control or just a love of cooking (foodies take note - Meribel has a bi-weekly regional farmers market).
Maybe you’re after a blank slate so that you can hop between local restaurants (Courchevel’s dining scene positively sparkles with Michelin stars). Or maybe it’s something else entirely – but whatever your reason, for apartments of any shape or size across the glorious Trois Vallees region, you’ve come to the right place.
3 Valleys apartments with flights
Apartments are already great value for ski holidays, even more so when you book them packaged with flights and transfers. Having everything sorted in one go saves a whole lot of hassle too! Just let us know your nearest regional airports and we’ll find the best holiday for you.
3 Valleys apartments with self-drive
One way to keep the catering in your apartment simple is to self-drive: you’ve space to pack food from home, and a car on hand for shopping trips during your stay. Driving to 3 Valleys resorts from Calais takes around 10 hours and most routes go through Albertville and Moutiers which have larger supermarkets.
Is it easy to self-cater in the 3 Valleys?
It’s perfectly doable! Some choose to self-drive and bring food from home, while others fly in and use the local food shops - which most of our apartments are within easy reach of. Some apartments have a food delivery service, bringing fresh pastries to your door each morning. More and more French supermarkets are offering home delivery too.
Which is the best 3 Valleys resort for self-catering?
Meribel has the biggest selection of food shops, as well as a twice-weekly farmers market where you can buy delicious local cheeses and meats. Courchevel’s pretty good in terms of supermarkets too, and elsewhere, some of the larger apartment blocks have their own food shops and bakeries.
What supermarkets are there in the 3 Valleys?
Some like to stop at the supermarkets in Moutiers or hypermarkets in Albertville before heading up the mountain – they tend to stock more and charges less. In the resorts themselves, you’ll find food shops such as SPAR, Carrefour and Sherpa stocking all the essentials.

Being such a huge region, there are apartments of all shapes and sizes – from cheap and cheerful digs for those who just want somewhere to crash at the end of the day, to brand new luxury apartments connected to hotels with spas and swimming pools.
