Park Hotel Mignon is one of Merano's finest hotels. It's centrally located with the centre just a five-minute walk away, yet it's surrounded by nature with established gardens providing peace and privacy. The interiors are finished to the standard you'd expect from a five-star hotel. The Glatt-Amort-Ellmenreich family have really looked after the property and take pride in every detail. The rooms are beautiful and blend modern with traditional. For a special treat, upgrade to a Romantic Double Room. They've got stunning wood floors and south-facing balconies with garden views. The food at the hotel is probably it's best feature. Plenty of care goes into sourcing the finest local ingredients so you can enjoy the region's typical dishes for both breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is a five-course feast with regular theme nights.

There's so much to see and do in Merano and the surrounding areas but don't forget to leave some time to relax in the hotel’s spa. Spend a few hours chilling out in the saunas, pool or steam rooms. If you want to top up your tan head to the roof terrace, which is around 200 square metres and the perfect sun trap. The views are pretty incredible from here too.

Rooms

Standard Rooms are about 28m² and are comfortably furnished with a north or west facing balcony, a walk-in shower, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, safe and minibar. They sleep up to two people. A spa set with a towel, bathrobe and slippers are provided free of charge in all of the rooms.

Romantic Double Rooms are about 30m² and have been recently renovated with wooden floors and a lounge area. They have south facing balconies with garden views. These rooms can sleep up to three people (extra bed is a sofa bed).

Junior Suites are about 40m² and can sleep up to three people. They have a comfortable living area and a balcony with south facing views.

The hotel’s excellent restaurant showcases some of the best cuisine of South Tyrol. Start with breakfast (served until 11am) where you can try homemade jams, freshly-squeezed fruit juice, local breads and eggs cooked to order. For dinner you’ll be treated to a five-course à la carte gourmet meal. There's themed evenings and a cocktail party once a week too. If you want to stay for lunch, there's show cooking and a great salad buffet.
