Palace Hotel San Pietro is in the historical district of Bardolino, which means it’s central but tucked away in a peaceful street. The town’s shops, bars and restaurants are all an easy walk away and the lake is just 200 metres from the hotel.
It's a family-run hotel with just 43 rooms and the service is excellent. Lots of people return year after year. It’s extremely well-maintained with beautiful public areas and comfy rooms that are light and airy thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. You can choose to upgrade to a room with a balcony too.
Although small, the pool is a welcome addition. It’s heated to 28 degrees and surrounded by well-manicured gardens. From the roof terrace, you'll have some of the best views over the lake and it's also where breakfast is served. We love relaxing here with a cappuccino before heading out to explore for the day.
