The outdoor swimming pool here is lovely, with a little bridge crossing over the centre and palm trees lining the pool, you truly feel on holiday but for cooler days you may want to head in to the indoor pool. The hotel is also very well know for its gym, which is one of the largest on the island. You can take part in exercise classes, try out the squash courts or even do a personal training session here (bookable and payable locally). There's plenty of activities to keep you busy, there's even a diving school at the neighbouring Hotel Sentido Galomar (payable locally).

Plenty of choice for foodies

There are a number of bars and restaurants at the Hotel Sentido Galo, some of which are shared with neighbouring Hotel Sentido Galomar. The Atlantico restaurant at the Galomar has spectacular views, you have the ocean right in front of you and the cliffs of Caniço to the left and right - it doesn't get more special than that (bookable and payable locally). For those on half board and full board, dinnerscan be enjoyed at the Ondamar restaurant where you're in for tasty delights of themed menus and live cooking.
