Hotel Royal is a lovely, family-run hotel where you’ll feel at home straight away. It’s nice and peaceful too as it’s slightly away from the centre of Stresa, which you can walk to in about 20 minutes. We love the gardens at this hotel and when it gets hot, the pool is right there to cool off in.

The breakfast room and terrace look out over the gardens so you can enjoy the flowers each morning. In the evenings you'll have the chance to try out some of the lovely local restaurants in Stresa, before heading back to the hotel's bar for a nightcap. It's a nice space to hang out in and you’ll even find some of the owners own paintings on the walls. The hotel’s been done up in a traditional style with cosy rooms that have parquet floors. Each one has a private balcony so you’ll have some outside space.
