Hotel Medil is a short walk from the centre of Campitello di Fassa and just around the corner from the Col Rodella cable car. There's a classic Tyrolean feel to this hotel and we can't get enough of the panoramic mountain views. Inside, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and they all have balconies so you'll be able to make the most of the views. The dining room follows in the traditional mountain theme, creating a really inviting atmosphere to enjoy your meals in. The menu has strong local Landin influences, but you'll have international choices too. Every Wednesday they serve a typical Trentino candlelit dinner - we loved getting a feel for the local culture and of course trying the delicious food.
The staff here have a great knowledge of the local area and all of the walking and biking trails. They even offer free walking excursions six days a week so you can get to know the area with the help of a local. There are trails for all abilities and the team are always happy to give you tips on the best ones.
After all that exploring, head to the hotel's spa where the indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath are all included in the price. There's beauty treatments and massages that you can book and pay for locally too.

Standard Rooms are about 20m² and have a balcony. They're furnished in a typical alpine style and have a TV, minibar, shower and hairdryer. They can sleep up to four people in twin or double beds, with an extra single or bunk bed. Cots are available on request, free of charge.
Comfort Rooms are more spacious at about 25m² and have the same facilities, including a balcony.
Suites are about 35m² and sleep up to four people. These rooms have a bedroom, a separate lounge where the extra beds can be made up and a balcony. They're available on request, please call to book.

Meals - food and drink in Hotel Medil
Each morning you'll find the buffet breakfast with a selection of pastries, fruit, brioches, homemade cakes, cereals, bread, yogurt, jams and fresh fruit. There's also savoury choices like eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, speck, salami and ham.
Guests staying on half board will have a three-course dinner in the hotel's restaurant. You'll have a choice of first and second courses, accompanied by a buffet of appetisers and vegetables. For pudding there's a variety of tasty homemade desserts. Every Wednesday, they have a typical Trentino candlelit dinner in the dining room.
