Hotel Continental Thermae & Spa has it all – a prime lakefront position, superb facilities and excellent staff. It’s tucked away just outside the centre of Sirmione, which you can walk to in about five minutes. The location means it’s nice and peaceful so once you’ve spent some time in the hustle and bustle of the town you can head back here and chill out by the heated pool. The lake is just steps away and there’s a wooden jetty that gives easy access to the water.

Inside you’ll find a mix of traditional and modern. The rooms are comfy and spacious with side views over the lake from the balcony. Dinner's a real highlight with plenty of choice on the half board menu – it changes every day so you can try lots of different Italian food. It’s open for lunch too when you can dine on the lake-view terrace if the weather is good.

Our favourite feature of the hotel is the spa – it’s a modern and elegant and you'll feel instantly relaxed here. It’s open daily and free for guests so make sure you head there to check out the Finnish sauna, steam bath and chromo-therapy showers. You can access the outdoor thermal pool straight from the spa so it’s easy to spend a whole day here.

Superior Rooms are around 20m² and can sleep up to two people. They have a classic style and modern amenities including air conditioning, TV, minibar, hairdryer, chairs, a writing desk and bathtub or shower. They have side lake views from the balcony.

Junior Suites measure 28m² and have a balcony with garden views. They sleep up to three people and the extra bed is a single sofa bed. These rooms have a sliding door that separates the bedroom from the living room area.
