- Hotel Catullo description
Since it first opened its doors in 1888, Hotel Catullo has been known for its excellent service and family hospitality. It’s a wonderful mix of new and old world décor with classically designed rooms, antique furniture and modern amenities. The building's exterior extends right to the waterfront where there's a private lakeside jetty. It’s the perfect place to relax and take a dip in the lake. We love the restaurant here, it's spacious and airy with French doors opening out into the garden. You can eat dinner out here in warmer weather. Expect excellent quality food made fresh with local ingredients and a fantastic wine list.
The ferry port's just a short walk from the hotel so getting out to other resorts is incredibly easy. Sirmione itself is bursting with culture, pottery cafés and delicatessens selling locally produced olive oil, wines and gelato. The hotel's also close to some of the best beaches on the lake including Sirmione Beach, which is known for its quiet surroundings and the stunning Parco Baia delle Sirene in the resort of Garda, which is just a short ferry ride away.
