New to our programme for summer 2022, the Hotel Bohinj couldn’t be more fittingly named. Your balcony room overlooks Lake Bohinj, so you can take in the views without even getting out of bed. The onsite spa facilities make it the ideal location for a romantic getaway or relaxing break. Try out some of the many treatments on offer including Finnish and Turkish saunas, the ice fountain, massage pool and salt room. Or, if you’re an early bird, watch the sunrise over the mountains from the outdoor whirlpool.

The newly renovated hotel has been designed with its surroundings in mind, using natural materials and furniture created by local craftsmen. The hotel uses reusable energy sources and limits the use of plastic wherever possible, including the recycled felt slippers you'll find in your room. The restaurant carries on the regional theme, using local suppliers and products to create its dishes. The village centre is just four minutes down the hill and you can access the surrounding hiking trails straight from the hotel.

Transfer time: 1 hour from Ljubljana airport or 3 - 4 hours from Salzburg airport (including a stop).

Classic Rooms are newly refurbished using locally sourced materials and are around 25m². Facilities include TV, Wi-Fi, safe, bath or shower, hairdryer, slippers. They sleep up to two adults.

Comfort Rooms can sleep up to three adults with a single sofa bed available on request.

Family Rooms consist of two rooms and are around 44m². They can sleep up to four adults and are available on request, please call to book.

Superior Junior Suites can sleep up to two adults and are available on request, please call to book.

Hotel Bohinj prides itself on supporting local food suppliers and using traditional Slovenian ingredients. Hot and cold buffet breakfasts are served each morning with an option of local delicacies. Dinner consists of a three course meal with seasonal dishes.
