Hotel Antonella is small and friendly hotel run by the Zamboni family who'll go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. It's in a lovely position on the main lake road so you can walk into the centre of Malcesine in about ten minutes. For a more scenic route take the lakeside path - it takes a few minutes longer but is so worth it just to be near the water.
The bed and breakfast board basis means you can try out a different restaurant each evening if you like. In town, you'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to places to eat but you don't have to venture far for a very tasty wood-fired pizza. Pizzeria Da Gigi is just beneath the hotel and offers discounted prices for guests staying at the Antonella.
The rooms are simple and spotlessly clean, but for something a bit special we'd recommend upgrading to the Standard Balcony Lake View Room. In the evening you'll be in prime position for watching the sun set across Lake Garda and the mountains beyond. Another nice sunset spot is up on the hotel's roof terrace.
