Vail New Year holidays
There’s no better place than Vail to turn over that annual new leaf. Whether you’re looking to spend a memorable evening with the family, or want to party the night away, the variety of options available are more than likely to keep you busy all night.
Vail’s popularity in the last 20 years has reached legendary standards, and to cater for this level of fame the resort has learnt to cater for nearly every taste, with the level of sophistication rising and customer service becoming an ever important priority. If you’re looking for a sumptuous sit down meal, look no further than the Larkspur, usually offering a beautiful 5 course meal followed by fireworks, or join a little later for the party preceding the midnight countdown. For a more reasonable price, Atwater on Gore Creek usually does a set menu, a la carte and children’s menu.
The resort itself also puts on a number of events, aimed at all ages. There’s usually a torch-lit parade and fireworks in Golden Peak to allow for a child-friendly environment where your little ones can celebrate with you. Alternatively, there’s sometimes a family party earlier in the evening at Adventure Ridge, at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola.
If you’re looking to see in the New Year without the children, there are a number of parties focussed solely on providing a fun, adult centred evening. The Dobson Arena has been transformed in past years to host a huge party with live music, a balloon drop and toast whilst being engulfed by confetti. Red lion usually provides a great New Year’s evening, and as one of the resort’s most popular venues, is likely to be packed out.
