Park City Easter holidays
Dependent on your style and wants, Easter can sometimes be the best time for a spot of skiing. Park City resort typically gets an average of 69 inches in March, and 30 in April which is usually more than enough to enjoy. If you’re a fair weather skier, this resort is perfect, with higher average temperatures than many of its US competitors. In addition, most slopes face north, keeping that warm spring sun off them for longer and thus retaining the best snow conditions for the maximum amount of time.
What would Easter be without an Easter-egg hunt? There’s usually a hunt for younger kids at the Korral on Easter Sunday, with another for the older ones on the mountain. This tends to include a hunt for the 2 golden eggs, each containing a season pass for the following year, a great excuse for a return trip! The Easter bunny is regularly on the slopes during the day to meet and greet.
The year round activities mean there’s never a dull moment in resort. Whether it’s tubing in Gorgoza Park, skating around the Ice Arena, or even spending a day pampering yourself in The Spa of Hotel Park City.
If you fancy a celebratory meal, the variety of the 100 plus restaurants in town is sure to cater for your needs and tastes. Ciseros usually serves a very reasonably priced but beautiful brunch, and is family friendly, usually keeping the kids entertained with an egg decoration station. Alternatively head to the Sky Lodge for another brunch buffet at Table One.
