Breck’s vibrant and friendly atmosphere bubbles to a frenzy on New Year’s Eve. With events to suit everyone throughout the evening, from the little ones to couples on a romantic getaway, or groups looking to party, the town is sure to provide an unforgettable experience. Becoming very busy, it’s worth booking tickets in advance where possible, especially for events in the evening such as concerts in the town or entry into clubs, such as the ever popular Cecilia’s. The exceptional firework displays of past years have been a must-see, and can usually be caught from most places around the town.
Seeing in the New Year on the slopes is tricky to beat, and here you’re almost guaranteed snow due to the resorts altitude of between 3,000 and 4,000m. If you can get out on the slopes early on New Year’s Day, it is a spectacular way to start the New Year, as the slopes are likely to be empty as people try to recover from the previous night.
However you decide to spend New Year, you will be spoilt for choice. Some of our hotels and catered chalets offer a spectacular New Year’s meal, or you could head out to one of the numerous restaurants in town, or even cook yourself in one of our condos for that personal touch.
