Breckenridge Easter holidays
Spring skiing is where Breck really comes alive. Its high altitude of over 3,000m means that this resort can be much more snow sure than many of its lower European counterparts, with an average snowfall of 60 inches in April. The weather is less windy than earlier in the season and to top it off, you can ski in gorgeous spring sunshine. Head to Peak 8 summit for a collection of expert runs – we definitely recommend dropping into Imperial Bowl on a powder day. For a more leisurely experience, head to the top of Peak 9 for an array of blue runs, but try to stay high for better snow quality.
The activities on offer will not fail to disappoint during Easter. Past years have played host to the Spring Fever Festival, held during the last month of the season, featuring a number of concerts and competitions. There are also a number of events for the younger generation, with prior years holding a number of Easter egg hunts to keep the youngsters entertained, as well as a few of the adults. You can also take advantage of the assortment of other outdoor activities, including ice skating and snowmobiling, to make sure you make the most of the weather, with other indoor options such as tennis and swimming if the weather gods aren’t so kind.
We offer a collection of holiday packages and accommodation suited to everyone, but make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. With most hotels housing a swimming pool for that all important relaxation, and condos offering complete independence, select your dates and airport below to check availability, or call our specialists for a memorable Easter break.
