Wengen Half Term holidays
February is the time to visit Wengen if you’re after prime snow conditions (have a look at the snow history on the right). There are great pistes to suit all abilities but intermediates are particularly well catered for here, with some lovely long runs down to the village and up on Männlichen. Non-skiers can go walking or snowshoeing to make the most of the fantastic scenery with views of the Eiger and Mönch massif, or just relax with a hot chocolate in one of the mountain huts.
The charming and traditional resort has a terrific reputation with families and those travelling with children will find lots to keep them entertained. Take them ice skating at the local rink or catch an animated film at the cinema. For skiing, there’s the fabulous Figeller children’s area, with 4 magic carpets and 3 drag lifts. The Swiss Ski School run lessons for little ones here and there’s also an English crèche in town - The Playhouse, for children from 1 month to 8 years old. Many of our hotels actually offer their own childcare facilities – ask us for more information if this will suit your holiday.
For extra features such as spa facilities or Wifi, choose one of our luxury hotels and make your stay truly special. Most hotels also offer full and half board, so you can eat in for dinner and even lunch. We’ve got some excellent deals on our hotels, book now before they’re snapped up! Opt for one of our package deals, usually the most affordable option, with flights, accommodation and transfers in one. We have self-drive holidays too or if you want to sort your travel out yourself, you can book our accommodation on its own.
