Veysonnaz Half Term holidays
Charming, family friendly and a great deal less busy than most major resorts, Veysonnaz is a perfect place for February half term.
A specific “Bambino” beginners’ area is only one lift away from the main village and other nursery slopes can be found just above nearby Nendaz (which was awarded with Switzerland’s “Families Welcome” status). For more advanced skiers, there are plenty of challenging reds and blacks (including the world famous Piste de l’Ours World Cup run), and a massive amount of off-piste which in February should be laden with soft, fluffy powder.
The resort is perfect for all ages, with a great ski school and lots of activities for non-skiers including snowshoe hikes, dog sled rides, tubing, tobogganing and ice skating. There’s also an indoor-heated pool and wellness centre with sauna, Jacuzzi and steam bath.
