Les Diablerets Easter holidays
Fortunate enough to have the Glacier 3000 on their doorstep, visitors to Les Diablerets should have some brilliant skiing to hand, even though Easter is nearing the end of the season. The glacier’s typically skiable until around May-time, and with plenty of blues and reds as well as some spectacular blacks, it’s a great destination for every level of skier. Issenau’s sunny slopes might still be in good nick for some gorgeous for morning skiing, but you might want to head over to Meilleret later on – sheltered by trees, the area’s also north-facing for the best chance of avoiding slush.
If the snow conditions become too difficult to contend with in the afternoons, there’s the option of going husky sledding high up on the glacier. Depending on the weather, you might still be able to don your skates and have a spin on the outdoor ice rink, otherwise a warming Swiss hot chocolate in the Auberge de la Poste is always a winner at Easter.
