Davos Half Term holidays
For excellent skiing, great amenities and a family-friendly atmosphere head to Davos this February half term. The snow conditions in the resort are usually at their prime at this time of year so expect plenty of powder. With 6 ski areas to choose from and a great variety of blue, red and black runs, even the most adventurous skiers will be kept busy. It’s a great place for a family holiday, with a good selection of children’s clubs and bunny lifts - the Kinderland on Madrisa has drag lifts, a trampoline and even a bouncy castle! There are plenty of off-slope activities to keep you entertained such as ice skating, and the Eau-là-là swimming pool with an 80m waterslide. The local cinema ‘the Arkaden’ screens the latest films, including children’s films in 3D. Davos is also famous for its many toboggan runs, some of which are flood lit at night - a great activity for all ages to enjoy. Although this is peak season, Davos tends to be quieter than many of the big French resorts at February half term. This is such a good resort for families in fact, that the Swiss tourism association has granted Davos the “families welcome” award.
