Sierra Nevada Half Term holidays
Sky high pistes, Spanish sunshine and oodles to do – half term in Sierra Nevada is a real treat. The short, hour long transfer from Grenada airport helps you make the most of the school holiday, and makes family travel a lot less hassle.
Children are catered for superbly here, with excellent ski schools and fun family pistes like the Pista del Mar and Pista del Bosque. With wide, forgiving runs to boot, beginners and early skiers and snowboarders can get a real confidence boost here. Intermediates have amazing motorway red runs to roam, while experts can explore off piste. Night skiing is usually available on half term week, which is an exciting way to enjoy the slopes after sundown.
Weather wise, February tends to see the ski area in peak condition, helped by the fact that all slopes sit above 2000m. We’ve never known the ski area to have the crowds of France at this time of year, thanks to Spanish ski schools not taking their winter break until later in the month.
Most of our ski accommodation here is hotels, with B&B and Half Board options to choose between. Book yours in a package with flights and transfers for a fabulously hassle-free, great value week away.
