3.5/5 Staff very helpful, room not ready when we arrived. Had to leave our luggage In boot room and make ourselves busy. Slightly strange things, no kettle or tea or coffee making facilities and no fridge at all. Pillow could have more comfortable. Very nice food. Children liked the food too. Access to skiing walkable but not easy, there is a bus, runs 4 times an hour at the bottom of the road leading up to the hotel. Then 2 mins drive to ski school meeting area and main lift.

Hotel was lovely! We had one of the apartments at the top of the building. Staff were delightful, very helpful especially with our granddaughter. Very accommodating to our needs. Food quantity and size was not great. Not always child friendly but generally very good. Ski slopes 50 yards away. Ski school was opposite the hotel which was fab! We had the option to come back at lunch as it was easy to get back. We made use of the swimming pool every day. Great family hotel. There is something for everybody.

We went during the February school holidays and the hotel was good. We found it quite basic, but clean and modern and everything we needed.
The staff were really nice and the ski access was good. I’d go back there, it was good overall and we had a great time. The food was alright, better than some places we’ve stayed before. I’d say it was just ok. I would give it a 6 out of 10, it was fine. The food choices were alright.
The ski access was good actually, it took a bit of working out on the first day, but once we’d worked it out it was good. There was a bus that you could have caught, but we ended up walking to the nursery slopes and then going up on the nursery lift and skiing down to another one. So it was a way to get there with just a short walk. It was great for the kids going to ski school, it was literally across the road from the hotel, it was good.

The snowboarding was good, we had an abundant amount of snow! So that was pretty solid.
We had different rooms to some of the other families we went with and we chopped and changed and it was good.
I think because it costs so much, because of the time we booked it (over New Years), it wasn’t quite “value for money” but we had a good time.
We had the kids with us so didn’t explore too much in town either.
The hotel do take-out orders as well as catering for the guests and they changed the meal up every night to cater for different cuisines. However, on the pizza night, the second night, the kids were waiting ages for food…but that’s the only bad thing that happened and after that the staff couldn’t do enough for us. It’s hard for them over New Years, you feel sorry for the staff as they are waiting on you hand and foot, but largely I’d say it was a big positive.
From where we were, you’ve got a lift that goes straight up. Only one day with a bit of weather they closed a lift that was walking distance away. Otherwise, there’s busses that stop right outside and you can just jump on a bus and go down to another lift, so it was good, really good. Even the other ski slopes that we went on, they were quite accessible and quite easy to get to, so yeah largely really quite happy. TOP TIP: Get the bus timetables for the different slopes, I think it’s really something you should do if you can.

We cannot praise the chalet, staff & resort enough! This was our first time in a catered chalet so we were not sure what to expect, but it has far exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

We have never stayed anywhere so well appointed or with such helpful staff. Without exception all the staff are happy, friendly, extremely helpful and go 'above & beyond'.
