A fantastic and very welcoming hotel, I couldn’t fault it when it came to cleanliness, food, staffing – all great. Meals were mostly traditional Italian and they put on a big spread for New Year’s Eve, with about 15 courses.
My room (single) was fine. At the end of the day your room is just for crashing in overnight, I don’t need a penthouse suite or anything like that!
The hotel provided a free bus to the lifts and you couldn’t ask for any more; you came off the slopes, gave them a call and they’d come and get you.
In all a great holiday, but unfortunately there was no snow!
They got the snow cannons working and there was one run open in Sauze, then a few in Montgenevre and Sestriere – so I managed to get a bit of boarding in. Then when I left, it started snowing!

We travelled as a large group (18 people). The hotel staff were very welcoming. The hotel was fine overall, no problems. The location was nice, slightly out of town. We had a fantastic bus driver, really great guy, he took us to the slopes every day. The food was a bit hit and miss, some nights were good, some not so much. You could choose what you wanted to have that evening at breakfast. It was traditional Italian food; there was a pasta course, etc. The rooms were fine, but then we weren’t in them very much!

The food was OK, staff friendly, everything clean. The room was an adequate size, been in bigger and smaller, it had a funny shower compartment thing – like a cubicle with a concertina door – which was a bit old fashioned.
The hotel was ok – the best thing is that they have a driver called Gigi who takes you on a minibus to the slopes, if you want to walk it’s a bit of a trek.
It’s very quiet, not great if you want somewhere lively but they’ve got a little bar if you want a few drinks.
