The hotel was fine, I enjoyed it. The service was nice and friendly. No problems at all! I’ve done everything from ski in, ski out to getting busses, and the issue here is that you have to get a bus then a gondola. It’s obviously not as convenient as ski in, ski out but it was OK.
The food was good and quite varied. In the morning they do a buffet breakfast – I can’t recall there being a chef there to cook eggs and omelets but it was fine. The evening menus had a good variety.
The only thing I thought was odd was that the way the hotel is built gives it this open space – when you come back from the reception towards where the rooms are you’ve got this kind of mini courtyard. They’d put wire there and created a mini exotic space with lots of birds. I thought it was quite strange to have all these birds closed in when outside you have woodlands and open landscape, but others might like it. It doesn’t detract at all from the hotel service though!

The hotel is pretty basic to be honest. The food was good and the service in the restaurant was decent. But from memory the rooms were quite basic and the whole thing looked a bit tired. It has a kind of odd format, with lots of corridors and big areas a bit like school gymnasiums, where we could go and play basketball or tennis. You can’t ski in or ski out, but the buses are very regular and stop right outside.
