No problems with our stay at the St Gothard, the hotel itself was absolutely fine, very clean and with more than enough space for 2 of us in our bedroom. Staff were friendly. We had dinner and breakfast every day and there were no problems with that.
Location-wise, it’s one of the furthest hotels from the slopes but it wasn’t too bad. We left our skis on the slopes would walk and catch the bus every other day. The walk takes about 10 minutes.

When we booked with SNO we had a big room for 4 people to share between two of us, however when we arrived the hotel had moved us into a small room. The ladies on reception were really helpful but the other staff we spoke to didn’t want to know. The room they gave us was right next to the lifts and there were people smoking on our floor so it wasn’t very pleasant.
The food was good though, they just did a 3 course buffet where you could grab what you wanted and fill up. On New Year’s Eve they gave us free wine.
It’s just a little out of town but we still walked to most places. It’s a bit of a walk uphill but we were ok with it. The bus runs inconsistently so we found it easier to walk anyway.
I would give it a 3/5 as it’s a pleasant enough place. But because of the staff, 2/5.

We had a really good time in Arinsal and really enjoyed the holiday in Hotel St Gothard. The hotel was friendly and warm. We ate breakfasts there as well as evening meals most nights, the food was very nice with a good selection of self-service dishes.
The only one downside was that it's on the edge of town. There's a free bus that stopped outside the hotel otherwise it was a 15-20 minute walk to the gondola. It wasn't too bad though and this wouldn't stop me from staying again, it would just have been easier to be closer to the lifts.

The hotel was perfectly fine. The bedrooms were clean and everything was up to scratch. It was generally quite pretty although the décor seemed to be a bit outdated.
For dinner, there was basically a big dining hall and it was a bit of a free for all. The dinner could’ve been half an hour earlier, especially for the kids. The food was absolutely amazing and tasted great.
We weren’t as close to the slopes/ski lifts as we were expecting but it actually turned out to be a nice walk back at the end of the day.
The valley seemed to be very steep and there was a main road at the bottom where everything seemed to be. It was a very picturesque place.

This is a lovely hotel, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was really nice, we were all very impressed. They did a different theme every night, for example Greek one night and it was all buffet so you could eat as much as you wanted. The rest of the hotel was nice. We had 3 of us in one room, there was just enough space for us all and we liked the balcony (especially the 2 who smoked, who checked if they were allowed first). We didn’t know that it would be a bit of a walk up the hill to town, but the shuttle bus was fine and the woman at reception was really rather generous and gave us a lift sometimes. Overall brilliant for what we paid.

Hotel St Gothard was very nice, we all had a really good week.
The building was nice and warm, everything was clean and tidy, I couldn’t fault it.
The only thing is that it’s right at the bottom of the village, so it’s a long (I presume 20 minute) walk to get to the slopes or a bus ride (bus service was quite good).
Enjoyed the food, good family standard fare with a different theme every night – I’d give it a 6 or 7 out of 10. We stayed over New Year’s Eve and they made a special effort with a big gala dinner, the staff dressed up and they held a NYE disco – all jolly good fun.
