The accommodation was fine, but the organisation of the evening meals wasn’t great. Because there was a big group of us, they didn’t seem able to get the courses out at the same time, so it was a bit of a muddle. I think they were understaffed. The rooms were fine and no problems there. We didn’t really use the spa facilities. The bar was good and they had live music. The standard of the food was 7 or 8 out of 10. The location was good – you just walk across the carpark and you’re there.

All of the rooms are a good size and very comfortable.
I think the food probably made the visit; we had waiter service with a 4 course dinner and different options every evening. It was extraordinarily good, if someone told you the hotel had one or two Michelin stars, you’d believe them.
The dining room and spa facilities have all been built on quite recently – the dining room is like a conservatory, with huge windows that look out over the mountains so wherever you sit in the dining room, you can enjoy the panoramic view.
On top of that, you have the wonderful swimming pool under the hotel, with a Jacuzzi and sauna. It has the same glass windows as the dining room so you can enjoy the same panoramic view of the scenery as you swim.
The hotel is quite close to a main bank of lifts (about a 5 minute walk), and there is a free shuttle bus that takes you all around the resort which stops right outside the hotel.
