We really enjoyed it there because we liked the fact it was ski in ski out and easy to access the slopes. One downside is the rooms were very small, so we were struggling for space a bit, which is often the case in these high, purpose-built resorts. The staff were helpful and friendly – they sorted a mix up with the keys one night very efficiently. The food options were really good. It was buffet style but it changed every night and there were lots of options. However, it was a little frustrating that they weren’t great at accommodating our dietary requirements/allergies. 3.5/4 . We used the hotel bar area a few times for quick drinks, but there is a great bowling alley close by which has a good bar too with music and pizzas.

Rooms were basic but we knew that anyway. it was fine. Good evening entertainment, they did a quiz night one evening – Brillinat holiday would happily go back next year.
Good selection of food every evening. I had cooked breakfast which was a nice treat. The free evening wine was not the best quality but still very drinkable.
Brilliant ski access, ski in ski out

Our first stay in this hotel was excellent and we’ve just been back!
One of the reasons we went back is that the food is anything and everything you can want and although the bar is quite expensive, there’s free wine.
It’s a big hotel, accommodation is very good and they had entertainment on some nights like the “Creatles” (based on The Beatles!) who were good fun.
You can ski out and back whatever your ability, as long as you can ski. You ski down to the tow and on the way back a little travellator takes you where you started from.
There wasn’t much to fault with the property at all, although our room was too warm both times we stayed (ended up sleeping with the balcony open).

Very basic, youth hostel standard but the perfect location makes it worth it, you can ski in and ski out and everything you need to get to is within walking distance.
The hotel Aiguille Rouge rooms are basic and small with a French bath (more like a shower) but clean and tidy – be careful what rooms you stay in as the noise comes up from the disco bar downstairs if you’re staying above it. Other rooms you couldn’t hear anything though.
I’d say it’s good for couples, groups, families – the rooms are a bit far from the restaurant and bar so depends how old children are.
