The place was really, really good. One of the best holidays we’ve been on. It was exactly what we were after – peaceful and quiet. Good for Laura to learn to snowboard.
The room was amazing, the whole place was like a little cosy chalet. It’s been done up really well. The only thing we found was that you have to leave your boards outside in an unlocked downstairs bit, which we were a bit worried about doing.
We had B&B, so ate breakfast there. It was good, it was typical European breakfast: cooked meats, cheese, cereals, etc. It was sort of homemade. The lady who ran it was a woman of all trades, she made the breakfast, did the cleaning, changed the sheets… she didn’t really speak any English which was quite funny at times trying to communicate with each other; it was quite nice really, sort of added to the experience.
The location was good, there were some restaurants nearby and the Spar was just round the corner so we could go and buy drinks, etc.
