We thought all the staff were fantastic. The guy Elliott who worked there was fantastic, but it would be wrong to single him out as being better than the others because they were all genuinely brilliant. One thing that was a bit unfortunate is the transfer, it was really long on the Saturday going out, which is quite common because of the holiday traffic and where Les Deux Alpes is. The transfer back when there was no traffic was relatively quick. Having done it, I would do it again but would like to be better prepared for the trip with no toilet breaks on the way to the resort. The food was brilliant, they were very accommodating for the kids (our kids were the only 3x kids there). So yes, genuinely really good. The ski access was really good actually, in as much as it made the holiday for us in that it was walkable and really easy for the kids to get back. As a resort it has a few pitfalls, in that there are some serious pinch points in the resort, which meant that you weren't skiing some of the areas that you wanted to, because otherwise you'd be back out at the one lift that everyone was getting stuck at to go back up...but once you knew how it would work, then brilliant. We'd definitely go back to the resort in a heartbeat.
Resort ticked all the boxes for us, really good. Genuinely the only bit that was annoying was the fact that the ski hire shop used was literally at the opposite end of town - we had to walk past it all to get to the shop, but they were kind enough to deliver the skis to the chalet.

Just come back from Chalet Les Rouses. Chalet hosts were great fun (Hayley, Grace & Ella), and they tried really hard to accommodate all requests. The chalet was very comfortable, although lounge seating area is not big enough to accommodate everyone, so first come first served! Rooms very comfortable - room 3 got bath, shower and a balcony which isn't fully explained on the website so a good room (probably the best in our view). Well worth a visit.

Great location, fabulous food and the staff very professional. Closest ski hire shop try "skimium" 29 avenue de muzelle only 10 yards away!
Happy Holidays!

A fresh take on the rustic chalet look, it is beautiful from the outside, but with a modern twist from the inside - the tiled flooring is lovely, and when the underfloor heating is functional it makes walking around in bare feet a god-send after a day crammed in plastic boots. Accessibility to the rest of the resort could not be easier, as it is placed right in the village centre. With the ski bus stopping just outside the chalet, and the piste a short two hundred yard walk away, you'll struggle to find a better base from which to enjoy this world-class resort and domaine.
