Frankly the chalet wasn’t great, it’s all pretty basic which I don’t really mind when it’s at the lower end of the price range. The bedrooms don’t really matter generally speaking as you don’t spend much time in them, but the communal area (an open plan kitchen, long table and seating) wasn’t great. The food was alright, we weren’t bowled over by any culinary genius but it met our expectations and there are no complaints – I’ve had better in other chalets but probably paid more for it.
If I was ranking it for location I’d put it low-middling - it’s on the edge of Val d’Isere, about a 15 minute walk from the town centre and a 10 minute hike from the lifts. It’s advertised as very close to one of the lifts, which it is, but you have to walk for a while to get to it. The location wasn’t so bad that it was annoying, but it could have been better.
I have to say the 2 chalet boys weren’t at all enthusiastic and really looked like they didn’t want to be there.

The chalet was great and we had a lovely time with the people there. It’s quite a small chalet but it was absolutely fine for us and our room was great. We enjoyed the food, they did a different meal every night, my son has a nut allergy and there were no problems at all, they were very hospitable. It was easy to get around, we could reach the slopes in about a five minute walk with ski boots on.

Nikki and Dave are fantastic, the chalet was fantastic too! Couldn’t improve it, it’s all been amazing.

Apart from the lovely clean chalet, great skiing & great bunch of guests, the major part in making this the best skiing trip was down to Josh and Ryan… Because of these 2 young men we will book again and highly recommend your company.

Our chalet hosts Nicki and Libby where outstanding. I've skied Val for 30 years and stayed with most of the UK based operators and this operator's girls were up there with the best.
