Great family holiday

We loved it! The accommodation was lovely, comfortable, central. The chalet host was fabulous – absolutely no complaints. It was ideal for us because we had 2 couples and 3 kids. The living area was gorgeous, spacious very comfortable to come back to, with a lovely fire. Very homely. The food was very good. The location was perfect as it was right in the centre of everything. Worth not having a hot tub because the location made up for it. We went to a fabulous restaurant on the staff night off which did a great fondue. The ski area is fabulous and the Folie is worth going to, as is the apres bar in town – Cocoricos.

Good chalet, excellent location.

Good chalet, excellent location. Good quality cooking and food. Heating did not work properly radiators did not go up. Despite requested breakfast on last morning was not served in time for transfer time. A boot rack for drying boots would be good. Nanny excellent . No English tv in top chalet Overall good but missing the extra luxury and service you'd expect from a top chalet.

A brilliant week

We couldn't have been better catered for, in every sense and all our dietary idiosyncracies were completely provided for. Serena was the perfect chalet host: nothing was too much trouble and she was a mine of useful information. She was there when we needed her and produced first class food for every meal. The chalet location was ideal too, with an unimpeded view of Le Face and only a couple of steps, literally, from the lifts.

A fabulous week

Thank you for a fantastic, fun week. Serena and Sam have been great. Amazing meals served every night particularly the plinth of cheese presented each evening. We particularly enjoyed Serena's moist sponge every afternoon and the kids tea was very good. Their enthusiasm for answering the many resort questions which we thrust upon them never wavered. Serena and Sam have been brilliant chalet hosts. Also Polly was amazing with the boys always doing fun activities. They will miss her greatly even though she was able to slash them at Bop it. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday and the inspiration for a Miranda esqu review. All the best x

Chalet Bel Sol review

The chalet was cosy though could have been more spacious without personal belongings of owners. Serena was a very good host and made delicious meals and cakes!
