Passo Tonale Easter holidays
Snow sure Passo should have some of the best conditions in Italy this Easter. Rather than melting away like an Easter egg on top of a radiator, the slopes here usually stay in tip top condition, all thanks to the mighty Presena glacier. Its 3016m peak allows for excellent intermediate and expert skiing late on into the season, with a sky high snow park swinging into action at 3000m.
It's unlikely, but if the snow isn't feeling too fresh on a given day, never fear - Passo Tonale has much more to offer by way of ice skating, tobogganing, swimming, wellness centres and mountain walking (not to mention some cracking sun terraces…). With many fitted with their own restaurants, the hotels here are designed to make life just that little bit easier. Indulge in a traditional Italian Easter feast (often including Pannetone and chocolate galore), for a taste of a country that's big on culture at this time of year.
