Ortisei Half Term holidays
Ortisei has a platter of ski and snowy activities to offer families and groups this February. Thanks to this being one of the lesser known Italian resorts and most Brits heading to France and Austria at half term, you should be able to enjoy lovely crowd-free pistes (and with Feb seeing some of the best snow most seasons, they should be in tip top condition).
Little ones and first time skiers can book lessons with the English speaking ski school and stick to the beginner zones, complete with magic carpet and fun obstacles. More confident skiers and boarders can migrate to steeper slopes, giving the Piz Sella snow park a whirl and if the whole clan is confident on the white stuff, consider a day spent skiing the Sella Ronda circuit (just don’t forget your camera!). Snow tubing and climbing courses for all the family will keep your half-term holiday fresh and exciting off the slopes as well as on.
