Ortisei Christmas holidays
Ortisei is brimming with Christmas cheer at this time of year as its multitude of coloured buildings twinkle with fairy lights, and a crisp, frosty air brings a magical excitement to the scene. The legendary wood carvers of Val Gardena have used Christmas as the ultimate excuse to showcase their talents in Christmasses past: wrap up warm and wander Luis Trenker street as you take in hand-crafted nativity scenes.
A spot of Christmas shopping in the town centre will fill your pockets with unique, hand-crafted trinkets, foods and wines for last minute stocking fillers and souvenirs for your loved ones at home.
