Courmayeur Half Term holidays
With Courmayeur being snow-sure and at high altitude, conditions should be pretty amazing here at February half term. While this is a world famous resort, many British tourists head to the French side of the Alps and Italy doesn’t have half term holiday, so things rarely get crowded. With the flexibility of the ski pass, Courmayeur is a good place for skiing if you some variety on and off the slopes as French legend Chamonix is just over the mountain.
With two good quality ski schools, new skiers will be looked after well and taught to a high standard. More experienced snow lovers can book a local guide who can take people off-piste both near the resort, and further afield in the surrounding valley.
Bundles of additional activities make sure all ages avoid even a glimpse of boredom during a week here. The indoor sports centre has an ice rink as well as indoor climbing wall. Tennis, five a side football and volleyball are also good for keeping the kids entertained, and allow for some change from the slopes.
