Morzine is a great resort that caters for families fantastically, making it a popular choice for those planning a family Easter ski holiday. On years of good snowfall and also when Easter falls early, Morzine is a great choice for a ski holiday.

While it’s not as snow sure as other French resorts like Tignes and Val Thorens, the fact that Morzine’s ski area covers grassland means it doesn’t require a great amount of snow to be skiable. Due to its closeness to Mont Blanc, Morzine tends to have its own microclimate so it’s worth checking a local forecast to get an idea of how the late season skiing will be. The best way to enjoy even more Easter skiing if you’re staying in Morzine is with the Portes du Soleil ski pass which gives access to a 650km ski area including altitudes up to 2,466m in nearby Avoriaz and a good number of north facing runs which are best for skiing in the late season.
