Les Gets New Year holidays
The magic stays here for the whole festive period, as Christmas tends to run through until the 30th December, with Santa and his elves reported to be making regular appearances after Christmas Day, so you can enjoy a traditional Christmas at home before heading to the Alps for more festive action.
There’s usually a huge New Years Eve fireworks display on Dec 31st with plenty of bars like the Black Bear and restaurants like LA R’mize to ensure your NYE celebrations are as memorable as the rest of your holiday. New Year’s Day sees the village full of things to do: as well as excellent snow for some really high quality skiing or boarding, there’s normally live music and special events for children. The assortment of accommodation in Les Gets; hotels, chalets and apartments, means that visitors can participate as much or as little in whole village celebrations, whilst remaining close enough to soak up the atmosphere. Choose between holidays including flights and airport transfers, channel crossings for self-drive or just the accommodation on its own. New Year falls early in the winter season, and although the resort has a low altitude, the grassy farming slopes, lacking in rocks, mean that less snow is needed for them to be skiable.
