Les Gets Easter holidays
Easter is when the warm weather and sun arrives, providing stunning views across to Mont Blanc and the surrounding area. It tends to be quieter around this time of year, so anyone skiing will have a freer run of the pistes. Due to the warmer weather, it is not ideal for those who enjoy powder skiing, as the snow tends to be of a lower quality, especially in the afternoons. Easter is more for families with young children who want to learn to ski in the sunshine, rather than the more adverse weather conditions of mid-season February/March. There is usually an egg hunt on skis every Easter for all the family, as well as various other activities for younger ones. This time of year is good for those seeking a more relaxed holiday, with skiing in the morning, and taking advantage of the other activities that Les Gets has to offer in the afternoon. As well as there being plenty of trails and mountain huts to admire the spectacular views - check out the scenery from Le Mouflon - there is also a cinema, bowling alley, the spa Serini Cîmes and the children’s ski and activity area ‘La territoire du Grande Cry’, along with plenty of other bars and restaurants, to keep the whole family amused.
