Les Carroz Half Term holidays
Having seen its heaviest snowfall year in, year out around February, the Grand Massif should be in tip-top condition for half-term.
If you’re treating the clan to some ski time during the school holiday, you’ve come to the right place. From the start, the resort has made it its mission to welcome families and has been awarded the Family Plus Montagne label for its efforts. Lessons are provided for those as young as 3 by the ESI and ESF schools and the area is bursting with child-friendly pistes like the Mini-boarder and Coin-Coin runs, which are fitted with small jumps and kicks. For kids not yet up to skiing, there are also some first-class childcare facilities: the Green Mouse Crèche will look after tots from the tender age of 3 months, and the Loupiots Club those of 3-12yrs. For more confident skiers, you’ve got world-class off piste just around the corner…
Both kids and adults are going to jump for joy at the frankly jaw-dropping number of winter activities here like paragliding, snowmobiling, swimming, volleyball, ice-skating, snow-shoeing, wildlife treks and rock climbing and some good, traditional fun like tobogganing, hot-air ballooning and husky sledding. When all that activity’s got the better of you, the Aquacime and Deep Nature Spas are on hand to rub some life into those aching limbs…
