La Plagne Half Term holidays

There’s loads to do during the half term week in La Plagne and the tourist office goes out of its way to make a week here fun and hassle-free. The resort’s lift systems have improved greatly in recent years, meaning that the queues usually associated with peak weeks are now far less of an issue. There are a great number of ski schools including Oxygene and Evolution 2 that all have priority on the lifts so even if there are queues anyone taking lessons won’t be affected.

The vast Paradiski ski area ensures that there is plenty of ground to cover and superb snow is all but guaranteed at this time of year – not only is February one of the best months for snowfall historically but 70% of the area is over 2000m (including 3 peaks over 3,000m) and there’s a glacier...

In terms of activities you can go swimming at Espace Paradiso, ice skating at Les Coches and Bellecôte, do some serious sledding at Colorado Park or catch up with the latest blockbusters at the Espace Régis Wargnier cinema.
