Isola 2000 New Year holidays
Festive magic tends to stick in the Alps, so if you’re after a traditional Christmas at home, head out to Isola over New Year’s Eve for a really memorable holiday.
The altitude means that there is plenty of early season snow to enjoy come New Year’s Day, when bleary eyed group members need waking up fast.
On the night itself, the resort normally organises a torch lit descent by the ski instructors, followed by a fireworks display. They offer vin-chaud, hot chocolate and normally champagne throughout the evening, and once this is finished you can move on to one of the many restaurants and bars to carry on celebrations.
The Snowball bar is popular in the resort, and regularly organises fun evening activities like karaoke, so well worth a look in on NYE.
A self-catered Chalet is the perfect option over New Year’s Eve, as it offers a comfortable base for any kind of celebration. Watch the fireworks and head back for a home cooked meal and plenty of French wine, or sample one of the great restaurants and soak up the alpine atmosphere.
