Isola 2000 Half Term holidays
Half-term tends to be a popular time to visit the Alps, and whilst visitors should expect a bustling ski resort, Isola tends to be one of quieter places in the Alps.
Thanks to high altitude skiing, snow should be good and south facing slopes means it catches the afternoon sun.
Being a resort that caters well for families, the facilities for children of all ages are great. The day-care service, Les Pitchouns welcomes children over the age of 15 months, and is open all day, bar an hour over lunch.
There is also a special children’s ski area close to the village, and the ski-school has received great reviews from parents.
Off the slopes, there are activities to engage any age. Enjoy an authentic Austrian horse and cart ride, if speed is more up your street, have a ride on a ski-mobile or go go-karting. Enjoy a breath-taking bird’s eye view of the resort on a ski paragliding trip or pop to the spa for a massage.
For anyone looking for some slightly lower impact family fun, head to the bowling alley or the cinema.
Holiday options include a package with flights and transfers included, channel crossings for those who prefer to drive and accommodation only options for those who just haven’t decided how they want to travel.
