Isola 2000 Christmas holidays
The most exciting thing about escaping the apparently evergreen English festive season, is the prospect of a White Christmas in the Alps and there is nothing more magical than waking up to snow covered slopes on Christmas Day. The high altitude means skiing is good, and with excellent snow making technology there is always snow to be enjoyed somewhere.
There is usually a torch lit descent down into the village on Christmas Eve for the arrival of Father Christmas and plenty of vin-chaud to keep you warm and help to get you into the festive spirit. There will normally be a show on in the evening for the children on Christmas Day, so head down to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Self-catering chalets are an excellent choice over Christmas, as they leave you free to enjoy the traditional mountain feel of a chalet, whilst allowing you to decide whether you fancy roast turkey in the Alps, or doing something different and going out for fondue.
Holidays over Christmas come with a variety of the options to make your festive season as easy as possible. Packages including flights and transfers are great for stress free breaks, holidays including channel crossings are a good choice for those driving and accommodation only for those who want to organise their own travel.
