Mont Tremblant Christmas holidays
If you're familiar with Mont Tremblant, you'll know that it looks like Disney World at any time of year, but Christmastime is the real spectacle - it's usually decked to the nines with trees and lights and you'll find the December calendar filled to bursting with festive events.
Festivities in previous years have included meetings with resort mascot, Toufou the deer, the arrival of Santa on his sleigh and performances from the elves. Look out for Les Mères Noël - a local singing trio who tour the village. Hotels are likely to have their own festivities planned, often including arts and crafts, carols and Christmas feasts.
In terms of ski area, over half of the slopes have artificial snow coverage, meaning whether or not Mother Nature's being generous, you'll be able to find skiable terrain, especially when December temperatures tend to be around -3 to -10ºC.
