Besides some of the best snow in the Rockies under your skis, the only company you’ll have mid-week in Marmot are the mountain sheep between the trees, so there’s plenty of opportunity to concentrate on your technique, or just stand and soak up the views without holding anyone up.
February lands almost in the middle of Marmot Basin's lovely long ski season, making the 1675 acres of groomers, bumps, bowls, chutes and famously light powder yours to roam.
If you're here with children, look out for the ticket office's ‘Family Card', which in previous seasons has given families a 20% discount and/or free ski day. Often the resort hosts family days in February too, including free events and activities. For kids lessons, Marmot classes are available for ages 4-12, while tiddlers will have a blast in the Little Rascals Nursery.
