Borovets Christmas holidays
If the idea of waking up every morning to crisp mountain air and layers of fresh snow can’t attract you to Borovets this Christmas, we don’t know what can. The resort is renowned for its beautiful pine tree lined pistes running through the Sitnyakovo and Yastrebetz ski areas all the way down to the resort. These forests, along with the glowing Christmas lights dotted around through the village give an enchanting festive feel, the like of which you’d do well to recreate back at home.
As far as Christmas Day daytime activities go, sitting on the sofa in front of Only Fools and Horses repeats just doesn’t quite cut it for us at Sno. If you, like us, would rather be zooming down groomed pistes on the 25th December, Borovets won’t disappoint. You’re likely to find solid snow cover around this time of year, along with plenty of ski cannons should the slopes need a helping hand.
After an exhilarating day up in the slopes, choose from any of our luxurious chalets or hotels offering celebratory Christmas feasts and of course a great night’s sleep, so you’re ready for the next day of adventure up in the Rila mountains.
