Bansko Half Term holidays

Bansko is a great place to treat the kids to a well-earned February half-term ski break, not least if this is their first time skiing. There a some great ski schools here which will have your little ones well on their way to discovering their love for skiing, such as the Pirin or Ulen ski schools, who can offer equipment hire, experienced, English-speaking instructors, and of course tons of fun! After a week or so, some confident learners may even be ready to take on some of the gentler blues (the return to the resort from the top of the Bansko lift is great) and take advantage of the peak snowfall here at this time of year. Another great thing about picking Bansko for a peak week like half term is that while prices shoot up in the French and Swiss resorts, holidays are much cheaper in Bulgaria, so you won’t have to break the bank to enjoy the snow.

The Hotel Sport Bansko is the perfect place to stay for families, located conveniently 30m from the ski school meeting points and all of the other great hotels on offer here provide a free shuttle bus to and from the main gondola lift, meaning you’ll be on the slopes in no time!
