St Christoph New Year holidays
With St. Christoph being one of the highest resorts in the Alps, conditions around this time shouldn’t be an issue – this is normally a fantastic period for snow and even if it’s not, around 60% of slopes have snow-making facilities to keep things in good shape.
Popular local restaurants like the Hospiz Alm are well worth booking for a New Years Eve meal. While the village doesn’t usually host big events, you’re likely to find something going on in your hotel or chalet and can always pop over to St Anton for a big night – it’s pretty buzzing year round but on the 31st December the atmosphere is immense! The party descends into the centre at around 11pm as the New Year is brought in with DJ’s, fireworks and drinks and then moves back into the clubs and bars (Krazy Kanguruh is an absolute must if you’re visiting the area). Other events in St. Anton include the weekly Wednesday ski show that usually begins at this time of year. It often contains fireworks, demonstrations and tricks and leaves spectators in awe!
Most of our packages include flight and transfers but if you’d prefer to drive the Arlberg Pass, a self-drive package might be for you. Accommodation-only deals are also available.
