Niederau Half Term holidays
With something for every member of the family, this is a wonderful time to make your journey to the slopes - whether you’re looking to soak up some Austrian alpine charm or bring skiers for their first experience of the piste. There’s loads to do on and off the slopes here and our accommodation is in prime location for all of it. If you have members of the group taking lessons, look for a hotel right by the slopes such as Hotel Alpenland which overlooks the kindergarten. Families with young children can keep an eye out for accommodation with childcare facilities – ask us for the best options. Hotel Sonnschein is another central option or you can cater for yourself with the Almdorf cabins. Board options vary with hotels and all apartments are self-catered.
Excellent ski schools cater perfectly to those just starting out on the skis. When the day on the piste is done the fun can continue with moonlit toboggan rides put on weekly. For an afternoon off, take the panoramic train ride across to Thierbach which passes some of the valley’s most beautiful scenery and makes for a unique experience of the mountain.
